About Us

Who we are and where we meet

Blessed John Henry Newman Society is an Anglican Use Society of the Roman Catholic Church in Orange County, California. We are temporarily a non-eucharistic community, composed of Anglicans and Roman Catholics of Anglican background, coming together to form a new parish for the forthcoming Personal Ordinariate in the Catholic Church.

Starting on Sunday, May 29th, we are meeting weekly every Sunday night at 6 PM for Evensong, followed by fellowship, refreshments, and catechetical formation according to the Catechism of the Catholic Church. We are currently meeting in Blessed Sacrament Episcopal Church, Placentia CA.
